I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to tutor and help in many different learning environments, working with all age ranges. I have worked as a peripatetic teacher in London for both Fulham Boys’ School and the East London Late Starters’ Orchestra whilst taking workshops for Soundstorm music agency, Wessex Youth Orchestra and the Purbeck Strings Festivals.​

I also teach privately on Double Bass, Bass Guitar, General Musicianship/Theory and arranging. Lessons are available over skype if travelling is an issue. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student, working to build the many core skills needed o succeed as a musician. I am passionate about improvisation and the benefits of learning by ear, whilst keeping a traditional approach with learning notation. My aim with all my students is to break information into manageable chunks and take a steady path to success, reinforcing methods introduced to me by my own professors and experience working across different genres.
